Because our goal is to make your visit as personal as possible, we ask that all visits be scheduled in advance. The best time to visit are weekdays when classes are in session. Students may also visit BGSU Firelands, our campus in Huron, OH. A 75-minute walking tour with stops in academic buildings, a typical residence hall room and the chance to interact with a current student. Class visitsOn weekdays during fall and spring semesters you can sit in on a college class. For a list of available classes, visit the class visit list. Financial aid informationStudent Financial Aid, 231 Administration Building. Counselors are available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday on a walk-in basis. An appointment is not necessary. Interested in applying? On-site AdmissionIf you have not applied for admission to BGSU, you may complete the admission process during your visit. If you still need to apply to BGSU, you may apply online and bring your official transcripts and test scores with you to be admitted on-site. You may also download a printable applicationand bring the completed application along with your official high school transcript including ACT or SAT scores and a $40 check made out to BGSU for the application fee. Transfer applicants are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores, but should bring copies of all college transcripts. If you have already applied, but still need to submit your official credentials, you may bring them with you for an instant decision during your visit. The Office of Admissions can advise you of major events on campus, or you may consult the University Calendar.
