Media and Communication Day!

Discover career opportunities in the fields of communication, journalism, public relations, telecommunications and visual communication technology. Representatives will also be available from various academic and student service areas.
Take advantage of special tours of the media facilities and opportunities to meet with faculty and BGSU students from the media and communication fields.
The agenda will include student panels highlighting the opportunities for students to participate in a wide range of media activities to gain experience in their chosen field of study or broaden their professional experiences. Breakout sessions will feature details on various majors and programs in the fields of media and communication.
Lunch is provided and will feature a keynote address from Tom Walton, BGSU alumnus and former editor and vice president of The Blade.
Visit our departmental display area from 8:30 to 9:30 am and again from 1:30 to 2:00 pm. An optional campus tour is available at 2 pm after the formal program.
At 1:45 pm board the University shuttle and head to the Technology Building, where you will tour the Visual Communication Technology digital media labs, view the VCT media showcase and meet faculty and students in the major. Conclude your day in the VCT print lab, where you will screen print your own souvenir T-shirt.
Follow the admissions program signs to the parking area, and BGSU staff will be available to assist you to the shuttle bus which will take you to Olscamp Hall.

If you still need to apply to BGSU, you may apply online today and bring your official transcripts with you to be admitted on-site. You may also
download a printable application and bring the completed application with you along with, official high school transcript including ACT or SAT scores and a $40 check made out to BGSU for the application fee.
If you have already applied for admission, bring your official transcripts including ACT or SAT scores with you for an instant decision during your visit.
Attendance is limited to 100 students and their parents.
