2010 University Freshman Academic Scholarships
Incoming freshmen in fall 2010 may be eligible for the University's Freshman Academic Scholarships ranging from $1,500 to full fees. The amount awarded is based on cumulative GPA and ACT or SAT test scores.

University Tuition Scholarship for Underrepresented Students
$1,000 up to full fees
To qualify
- Demonstrate financial need as established by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Other factors in determining eligibility include academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA, 20 or higher ACT, or 920 or higher SAT (critical reading plus math), race/ethnicity, location of high school attended, state or Ohio county of residence, commitment and contribution to diversity, and/or alternative measures of academic achievement
- Entering fall semester freshman

BG Success Scholarship
To qualify*
- 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or 20 ACT composite or 920 or higher SAT critical reading plus math
- Award is automatic and renewable and provides one-half off the nonresident fee to qualified full-time students who are non-Ohio residents

Alumni Association Scholarships

Alumni Laureate Scholarship Program
Separate application required. Deadline to submit an application and have all admissions credentials complete is November 13, 2009. More information is available.
Wood and Lucas County Book Loan Scholarship Program
Incoming freshman for fall 2010 from Wood or Lucas County may apply for a scholarship to cover the cost of books for your freshman year. To qualify, you must be an admitted freshman and live in Wood or Lucas County. The scholarship application and FAFSA must be completed by March 31, 2010. More information is available.
